Mission Statement

Lincoln College uniquely empowers students to realize their full potential.

presidentPresident's Message
Thank you for your interest in Lincoln College!

We present to you two unique branches of the College united in the common mission of helping students to achieve a greater measure of happiness, personal fulfillment, and economic success.

Lincoln College – Lincoln is our “flagship” campus and its mission is to provide a high-quality two-year educational experience primarily to traditional-age residential students and also to a growing enrollment of more mature commuter students. All are welcome to study at Lincoln College - Lincoln.

Lincoln College – Normal is our branch campus and provides high-quality education through the baccalaureate level both for residential and commuter students spanning the age range. Midwest College of Cosmetology is also housed at Lincoln College - Normal.

While each campus is unique, both offer a very personal and responsive educational experience by highly qualified faculty and staff who are dedicated to student success.

Lincoln College provides a full measure of personal support. This is an intentionally small institution because we strive to give each student substantial individual attention. Our class sizes are small and each year we are delighted to observe students, faculty members, and support staff coming together as an academic family. There are a number of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities available to students on both campuses and, because of our small size, we are able to offer many educational enrichment opportunities.

Lincoln College has substantial financial aid available. This aid comes in the form of scholarships (e.g. academic, fine arts, athletics), need-based grants and loans, work-study opportunities, and a variety of other forms of assistance. It might please and surprise you to know that around 90% of the students at Lincoln College receive some form of financial aid.

We hope you will give favorable consideration to Lincoln College. It is a great place to study, learn, and live.

John M. Hutchinson, Ph. D.
