Grades
Midterm grades are collected at the end of the eighth week of classes and are not computed in a student’s grade point average. Final grades are recorded on the student’s final transcript. Copies of the midterm and final grades are sent to the legal home address provided by the student.

- Click on the “Grade Report” link on the left side of the screen.
- Locate the term for the grades you would like to see.
- There is also a choice between viewing your mid-term grades or final grades.
Transcript Requests
Requests for official transcripts must be made to the Registrar’s Office, along with a $5.00 processing fee for each request. No transcripts will be released until the student has met all financial obligations to the College and has submitted all required documents, such as final high school transcripts and official G.E.D. results. Transfer Evaluations
A student that wishes to transfer from another college or university must provide Lincoln College with an official transcript in order for the Registrar to complete a transfer evaluation. Students may also need to provide course descriptions or syllabi in order for the evaluation to be completed.
Lincoln College participates in the Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI), which is a statewide agreement between participating public, and some private, colleges and universities. The purpose of this initiative is to facilitate efficient and timely transfer between institutions for students. The Illinois Transferable General Education Core Curriculum structure consists of 12 to 13 courses (37 to 41 semester credits) distributed among five subject areas.
The general requirements are as follows:
- Communication: 3 courses (9 credits)
- Humanities and Fine Arts: 3 courses (9 credits)
- Mathematics: 1-2 courses (3-6 credits)
- Physical and Life Sciences: 2 courses (7-8 credits)
- Social and Behavioral Sciences: 3 courses (9 credits)
Regardless of a category placement, a student may count no more than two courses from a single discipline to fulfill the General Education Core Curriculum requirements. Only one course assigned to an IAI course number may be used to fulfill a requirement. Visit the IAI web site at www.iTransfer.org.
Veterans Concerns
Student veterans and certain dependents may receive assistance at Lincoln College through funding from the GI Bill. The Illinois Veteran’s Grant applies only to public colleges and universities.
Veterans who wish to attend Lincoln College must submit the following:
- An official transcript from any college or university attended in the past
- A copy of their DD214
In order to receive full benefits, a veteran must maintain full-time status each semester by enrolling in a minimum 12 credit hours. Nine credit hours will be considered three-fourths time, and six credit hours will be considered half time. Veterans enrolled for less than six credit hours will receive only tuition and fee allowances. Lincoln College will notify the VA immediately of any change in student status.
Graduation
When a student completes all graduation requirements and is in Good Academic Standing (Career GPA of 2.0 or higher), the student is eligible for graduation. Students must apply for graduation the semester prior to their anticipated graduation date. Download the Graduation Application Form - PDF 34KB
Student diplomas will be sent by mail within approximately ten to twelve weeks after the Commencement ceremony. Diploma covers are handed out during the ceremony. If a student chooses not to attend the Commencement ceremony, a diploma cover will be mailed with the diploma.
If money is owed to the College, a diploma will not be mailed until the Business Office releases the hold on the account. Please contact the Business Office at (217) 732-3155 extension 225 with any questions.
