Services and Expectations

Student working in an art studioAll students attending Lincoln College will find that:

  • Classrooms are small and individual attention is possible.
  • Academic advisors aid in course selection and closely monitor progress and class attendance.
  • Faculty members are available regularly for added assistance.
  • A tutorial program is staffed by both professional and peer tutors.
  • Formal channels of communication between the college and parents are readily available when the FERPA waiver has been signed.
  • An educational environment exists that is challenging, yet supportive.
  • Our curriculum and degree programs are designed to prepare students for university study. Course and degree requirements are the same for all students.
  • Grades are based on academic standards rather than the effort expended.
  • Students are responsible for scheduling and keeping appointments with advisors, faculty members, and tutors.
  • Students in need of accommodations must self-advocate through the Office of Disability Services.
