Services and Expectations
All
students attending Lincoln College will find that:
- Classrooms
are small and individual attention is possible.
- Academic advisors aid in course selection and closely monitor
progress and class attendance.
- Faculty members are available regularly for added assistance.
- A tutorial program is staffed by both professional and peer
tutors.
- Formal channels of communication between the college and parents
are readily available when the FERPA waiver has been signed.
- An educational environment exists that is challenging, yet
supportive.
- Our curriculum and degree programs are designed to prepare
students for university study. Course and degree requirements
are the
same for all students.
- Grades are based on academic standards rather than the effort
expended.
- Students are responsible for scheduling and keeping appointments
with advisors, faculty members, and tutors.
- Students in need of accommodations must self-advocate through the Office of Disability Services.
