Services and Expectations

Student working in an art studio All students attending Lincoln College will find that:

Classrooms are small and individual attention is possible.
Academic advisors aid in course selection and closely monitor progress and class attendance.
Faculty members are available regularly for added assistance.
A tutorial program is staffed by both professional and peer tutors.
Formal channels of communication between the college and parents are readily available when the FERPA waiver has been signed.
An educational environment exists that is challenging, yet supportive.
Our curriculum and degree programs are designed to prepare students for university study. Course and degree requirements are the same for all students.
Grades are based on academic standards rather than the effort expended.
Students are responsible for scheduling and keeping appointments with advisors, faculty members, and tutors.
Students in need of accommodations must self-advocate through the Office of Disability Services.
