Academic Success Center

The Academic Success Center provides professional and peer tutoring at no charge to students. Tutors are available in all subject areas offered at Lincoln College. From brainstorming with a student on research paper topics to preparing a study guide for a biology exam, tutors can assist students in every aspect of an assignment.

Scheduling appointments

Call 217-735-5050 ext. 303, or stop by the Academic Success Center in person to schedule an appointment. To guarantee an appointment, contact the office at least 24 hours in advance.

Location

The Academic Success Center is located on the second floor of McKinstry Library.

Canceling appointments

If you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, you are responsible for canceling it as soon as possible. If you miss two scheduled appointments without notification, (no call no show) you will not be allowed to make further appointments.  You will be able to attend walk-in sessions.
