Kankakee Slips Past Lynx

Kankakee Community College slipped past Lincoln College, 8-5 in baseball action at Galen Shirley Memorial Field in Lincoln Friday afternoon dropping the Lynx to 13-15 on the season. Kankakee now stands at 24-9. The Lynx are slated for a twin bill Saturday against Springfield College with the first game to begin at 3 p.m.

Dustin Duffie led the Lynx at the plate, banging out four hits, including a pair of doubles and a triple, with three runs scored. Tyler Casson had two hits with one run and an RBI and Jake Jones was 2-4 with a pair of RBI.

Blaen Fletcher suffered the loss, going four innings, giving up eight hits, six runs, four earned, with one walk.
