Lincoln College Sophomore Has Verbally Committed to Parkside

Colin EigenbrodLincoln Community High school product Colin Eigenbrod selects to attend the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Eigenbrod on his commitment, “Parkside will give me the opportunity to both further my education and playing career as well, I feel that Coach (Joel) Weaver is going to get the program going back in the right direction.”

At Lincoln College, Eigenbrod is a member of Phi theta kappa, and currently holds a 3.95 GPA. Head Coach Tony Thomas on Eigenbrod, “Colin has been a very consistent contributor to the program in all phases. His hard work and dedication has not only made him a better baseball player but has crossed over into the classroom. His leadership both on and off the field will help him succeed in the future at Parkside.”

Eigenbrod as a freshman, hit in the four hole and was a main contributor to the runs batted in. As a very consistent hitter, Eigenbrod will find himself in the same spot this season for the Lynx. Eigenbrod stated,” LC baseball gave me the opportunity to play right away after high school. With the great competition, it was a great way to gain college experience.”

Eigenbrod still currently holds three baseball records at Lincoln Community High School, career batting average (.424), doubles in a season (16), and career doubles (30).
