Big Win Over Lake Land - Trotter scores 32

MATTOON - Lincoln College men's basketball team defeated Lake Land on Wednesday night. With a half-time lead of only one basket, the Lynx took control in the second half posting 35 points to Lake Land's 21. The game's final score was 80-64. This win takes the Lynx to .500 for the season posting a record of 11 wins and 11 loses.

Leading the Lynx in double figures was Rueben Trotter who scored 32 points. Trotter sunk 15 field goals and only two free throws. He also had a team high of 11 rebounds. Other double figure contributers were Rodney Williams who scored 15 points and Michael Henderson with 10.

Leading scorers for Lake Land were David Tolefree, 22 points, Shawn Nevil with 15, and Andre Faria with 14.
