Lynx Beat Parkland - Carlson scores 26 After trailing in the first half by 7 points, the Lynx stepped it up in the second half to defeat Parkland Community College. The final score was 75-71. This improves The Lynx conference record to 7-6 while they post a 13-13 record for the season. Parkland is now 8-5 in the conference and 19-8 overall. Sophomore Jeff Carlson from Chillocothe was the Lynx scoring leader shooting for 26 points on the night. He shot 4 three-pointers and sunk 6 shots at the free throw line. Rueben Trotter contributed 18 points to the Lynx score. Parkland had four players in double digits. Chris Bunch posted 16; Teran Lee, 14; Armund Taylor, 12; and Erik Young, 11. The next Lynx game is Saturday, February 21 when they travel to Springfield, Illinois to take on Lincoln Land Community College.Parkland (71)
