Men Even Record With Victory Over Shawnee

INA - Lincoln College evened its record at 2-2 with an 86-79 victory over Shawnee at the Rend Lake Classic Friday night.   Shawnee falls to 1-2 for the season.
 
Jeff Carlson led a balanced attack for the Lynx with 19 points while Rodney Williams and Rueben Trotter both tossed in 12 while Tony Gulley contributed 14.   All ten of the Lincoln College players who saw action, scored for Coach B. J. McCullum.
 
Lincoln shot 60 percent the first half (15-25) as they took a 40-36 half-time lead.   Lincoln College finished the game shooting 55 percent from the floor.   Both teams pulled down 37 rebounds with Michael Henderson leading the Lynx with nine.    Shawnee finished with a 51 percent field goal percentage (32-63).   Shawnee was whistled for 36 fouls and Lincoln College made 26 of 51 free throw attempts.   Shawnee made 9 of 14 foul shots as LC had 22 total fouls.
