Lynx Attack Kaskaskia

Aaron Williams led a balanced Lincoln College attack to an 87-73 victory over Kaskaskia at Lincoln Saturday afternoon, raising the Lincoln record to 4-2 for the season.   The loss drops Kaskaskia to 2-5.
 
Williams tossed in 21 points on 7 of 10 shooting from the floor, including 4 0f 7 from three point land.   Joining the freshman point guard in double figures were Michael Henderson with 14, Rodney Williams with 12 and Jason Moore with 10.   Troy Jenkins led Kaskaskia and all scorers with 27 points. 

Lincoln College raced to a 40-29 half-time lead, connecting on 16 of 32 field goal attempts.  The visitors were able to make just 8 of 23 shots the first half.   The Lynx finished the game shooting 53 percent from the floor (33-62) while Kaskaskia shot 43 percent (26-60).  

Henderson and Rueben Trotter each pulled down seven rebounds to help Lincoln record a 39-32 edge on the boards.   Williams and Moore both had five assists to aid the Lynx cause.
