Game Recap The Lincoln College men’s basketball team celebrated their jump to third in the NJCAA Division II rankings with a 86-67 victory over Carl Sandburg Tuesday night at home, improving to 5-0 on the season. A suffocating defense was key for the Lynx in the victory, holding the Chargers to just 32% shooting from the field in the game, to the Lynx 51%. The Chargers also committed 24 turnovers in the loss. The Lynx were lead in scoring by Shawn Bridgewater, who finished with 18 points, and seven rebounds. Jake Littrell and and Rob Rabenau each finished in double figures with 10. Every Lynx player played at least ten minutes and scored. Lincoln College will play in the Southeastern Iowa Classic this weekend, facing Southeastern Iowa on their home floor in Burlington on Friday night, before battling #4 ranked Lindenwood Saturday night. # # # # # |
