Lincoln College -  Tylon Deal, the point guard for Peoria Richwoods, who helped his team to a 30-3 record and finished 2nd in the Class 3 IHSA State Tournament has signed with Lincoln College.  Tylon was the Player of the Year for the Peoria Journal Star, 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team All-State 3A, 2nd Team All-State 3A/4A and will play in the IBCA All-Star game this summer.  Tylon will join the Lincoln College squad that finished last season 30-6 and won the NJCAA National Championship.  The Lynx have three starters coming back next year.

“What impressed our coaching staff with Tylon was two things, number one was his toughness and ability to win and number two he comes from a great program – we know he was well coached by Mike Ellis.”  Said Kirk Whiteman.  “Tylon will be a great fit for our program for the next two years and we are excited to have such a great young man represent our program."
