Lincoln Falls to #1 Parkland

Last night the Lady Lynx were defeated by the number one team in the nation, Parkland Community College. Parkland also came to the game undefeated in the conference and a season record of 24-3. The Lynx held them close at the start and only trailed by one point at the half. But Parkland took the lead in the second half, outscoring the Lynx by seven. The final score was Parkland 63, Lincoln 55.

Nicole White led the Lynx with 16 points, while Kanisha Pettis netted 13.

The Lynx play again on Saturday at 2:00 against Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield.
