Lynx Drop to Lincoln Land

SPRINGFIELD - Lincoln Land Community College defeated the Lynx 65-61 on Saturday afternoon. The Lynx took the lead in the first half scoring 38 points to Lincoln Land's 32. But Lincoln Land took the reins in the second half outscoring the Lynx by 10. This loss makes the Lynx 9-19 for the season.

Topping the Lynx scoring charts were Sophomore Erica Ernst and Freshman Jessica Hamman. Ernst had 16 points while Hamman took 14 points and 10 rebounds for the team.

The Lynx will play their final regular season away game on February 25 when they travel to Canton to play Spoon River. The Lynx defeated Spoon River earlier this season.
