Four Point Loss to Kaskaskia

Kaskaskia outscored Lincoln College 39-29 in the second half and went on to post a 61-57 victory at Lincoln Friday night.  The loss drops Lincoln College to 1-4 for the season and the Lynx will play at 2 p.m. Saturday against Elgin.
 
Erica Ernst led the Lincoln attack with 14 points while Kanisha Pettis added 11 and Nicole White added 10.   Lincoln College led 28-22 at half-time, however, Kaskaskia, led by Voss with 14 points, used a good second half for the victory.   Voss finished the game with 16 points to join Ellwood in double figures as she netted 18 points.
 
Lincoln College (57) - Nicole White 3-3-10, Kanisha Pettis 4-0-11, Becky Spears 2-0-4, Nicole Dearing 2-1-5, Maria Coronel 0-2-2, Erica Ernst 5-4-14, Jessica Hamman 1-1-3, Mickey Coleman 1-1-3, Kristin Rucks 1-3-5.  Totals 19-15-57.  Three point goals - White, Pettis 3.

Kaskaskia (61) - Horstmann 1-0-2, Ellwood 6-6-18, Chew 2-0=4, Bridges 2-0-4, Foppe 2-0-6, Brown 2-1-5, Denham 0-3-3, Voss 8-0-16, Yurgens 0-1-1, Satawhite 1-0-2.  Totals 24-11-61.  Three point goals - Foppe 2.
