Carl Sandburg Defeats Lynx

GALESBURG - Carl Sandburg remained undefeated by downing Lincoln College 85-62 in women's basketball action here Tuesday night.   The loss drops Lincoln College to 3-7 for the season.
 
Carl Sandburg led by a single point, 40-39, at half-time before breaking loose with 45 second half points.   The Lynx were able to score just 23 points in the second half.
 
Brittany Ingram was the lone Lincoln College player to reach double figures with 15 points.  Carl Sandburg had three players in double figures, led by A. Swick with 20.
 
Carl Sandburg won the game at the free throw line as they converted 26 of 41 attempts while Lincoln College was only able to get to the foul line 12 times and they were successful seven times.
