Woolridge Signs Letter to play golf for Lincoln College

Lincoln, IL - February 24, 2009- Lucas Woolridge of Clinton has signed a letter of intent to play for the Lincoln College Men’s Golf program at Lincoln College in Lincoln, Illinois.

Lincoln College Men’s Golf Coach, Kirk Whiteman says Woodridge was recruited to play for the Lynx due to his upbeat outlook. “I like the fact that we have a great person joining our team next year. I have heard nothing but great things about his attitude and approach to the game. Lucas is going to have the opportunity to play a lot of golf over the next two years against some of the best competition in NJCAA. As all freshman, I expect there will be a learning curve with the amount of golf that is played compared to high school, but believe Lucas will step up to the challenge,” said Whiteman. He is the son of Rod and Karen Woodridge of Clinton.
