Lynx Tie Best Score of Season

JACKSONVILLE - Four Lincoln College golfers were under 100 as the Lynx finished with a team score of 381.  Illinois College won the event with a total score of 366 while MacMurray College competed, but did not have a full team at the MacMurray Invitational.

Amber Wright shot a 94 to lead the Lynx while Sarah Morine had a 95.  Carlie Facker had a 95 and Stacy Weaver came in with a 97.   Also playing for the Lynx were Ashley Specht with a 105 and Lindsey Horath with a 110.

Coach Kirk Whiteman said, "Carlie has been scoring better each event.  Amber played a great front nine (43) but ran into trouble on the back nine.  I think Sarah and Stacy are both better golfers than they have been scoring.   Ashley and Lindsey have been battling health problems.   We tied our best score of the year and I think we will be ready for regional in the near future."
