Team Gives "Spirited Effort Against Top Notch Opponent"

Eleventh ranked Lewis & Clark rolled to a 7-1 victory over Lincoln College in women's soccer action Wednesday afternoon in Godfrey.  
 
"Our players worked very hard and it showed.  We executed very well and built a solid attack," said Coach Aaron Paskavan.  "We gave a very spirited effort against a top notch opponent.   We played together as a team very well today."
 
Lincoln College's lone goal came from Elise Sommerfeld in the 76th minute on a free kick from 30 yards.   Lewis & Clark led 3-0 at half-time and added four goals during the second half of play.
