Split Against Lewis and Clark GODFREY - Amanda Chrisos (7-9) threw a six hit shutout to lead Lincoln College to a doubleheader split against Lewis and Clark here Tuesday afternoon, 1-0. Lewis and Clark won the first game 3-0. " This was an important win for us," said Coach John Andrews. "It knocked them out of first place in the conference and moved us up to fifth." Lincoln College scored the lone run of the second game in the sixth inning. Kelly Nader walked, moved to second on a sacrifice bunt by Beth Smith and moved to third on an infield out off the bat of Nicole Dearing. She then scored the only run of the game on a wild pitch. Chrisos struck out three and walked one in throwing the complete game shutout. LC was able to connect for just two hits in the contest, one each from Stetter and Shaw. In the first
game losing pitcher Kelly Nader allowed five hits and five walks while
striking out four. The Lynx left eight runners
on base as they were unable to dent the scoreboard.
