Lynx Win Over Springfield College

Lincoln College defeated Springfield College in a softball doubleheader to raise the season record to 14-18 overall and to 7-11 in Central Illinois Conference play.    The Lady Lynx won the first game, 5-0, and took the nightcap 10-2.

In the first game Amanda Chrisos (8-9) gave up seven hits but worked out of trouble with good defense.   Chrisos had a pair of strikeouts and walked just one.

Lincoln College connected for just three hits, one each by Kelly Nader, Beth Smith and Norissa Stetter.    

Kelly Nader (6-7) was the winner in the second game giving up just five hits.  Ashley Shaw banged out three hits to lead an 11 hit attack for Coach John Andrews.  Nicole Dearing and Courtney Baumann each had two hits for LC.  Stetter drove home three runs and Maxine Schlee had a pair of RBI.
