Lincoln Drops to #2 Parkland Second ranked Parkland handed the Lincoln College softball team a pair of defeats here Thursday afternoon. Parkland (45-4) won the opener by a 10-2 score and took the nightcap, 7-2. Lincoln College (17-27) collected four hits in the opener, two off the bat of Ashley Shaw. Jen Clemings and Courtney Baumann had the other hits for Coach John Andrews. Amanda Chrisos (10-13) suffered the loss. Parkland scored seven times in the second inning to break the game open. In the second game Parkland scored in every inning except the fifth to post the victory. Norissa Stetter and Katie Meikle each had a pair of hits for Lincoln. Both of Stetter's hits were doubles. Kelly Nader (7-13) suffered the loss for the Lynx.
