Danielle Stephenson has been selected to the Region 24 softball team voted on by the coaches in the region. The top 13 players are selected, not by position but as one of the top 13 players in the region. Danielle is a freshman who hit in the sixth spot in the lineup and played left field for the lady lynx. Danielle’s stats for the season were very impressive, BA .397, 126 AB, 21 runs, 50 hits, 4 2B, 2 3B, 2HR and 32 RBI .
Taylor Dirks a sophomore was selected to the 1st team All MWAC softball team at second base. This team is also selected by the coaches in the conference. Taylor’s stats consisted of a .392 BA, 148 AB, 38 runs, 58 hits, 12 DB, 3 3B, 2 HR, 14 SB and 22 RBI while hitting in the leadoff position.
Heathre Depratt and Danielle Stephenson were also selected second team all conference. Heathre was selected as a catcher, .328 BA, 122 AB, 40 hits, 11 2B, 3 3B, 25 RBI and 23 SB. Danielle was selected as an outfielder. Congratulations to all the girls.
