Women's Softball Team Members Earn Academic All American Honors

Four members of the Lincoln College softball team Lara Dawson, Kaylah Murphy, Angie Augspols and Taylor Dirks have earned Distinguished Academic All American honors for the 2009-2010 school year.  Lara and Kaylah are also members of the volleyball team. The Lynx softball team also earned Academic All American status with an overall  GPA of 3.16. To achieve Distinguished All American honors a student must maintain a 3.80 GPA or better. Lincoln College was founded in 1865 as Lincoln University, the only institution of higher education named for Abraham Lincoln during his lifetime. It is a selective, two-year, private, liberal arts college located in Lincoln, Illinois.
