Four members of the Lincoln College softball team Lara Dawson, Kaylah Murphy, Angie Augspols and Taylor Dirks have earned Distinguished Academic All American honors for the 2009-2010 school year. Lara and Kaylah are also members of the volleyball team. The Lynx softball team also earned Academic All American status with an overall GPA of 3.16. To achieve Distinguished All American honors a student must maintain a 3.80 GPA or better. Congrats to all.
Lincoln College was founded in 1865 as Lincoln University, the only institution of higher education named for Abraham Lincoln during his lifetime. It is a selective, two-year, private, liberal arts college located in Lincoln, Illinois. Lincoln College is designed to prepare a student for university study through a structured, supportive approach to learning.
