Lynx Drop to Lincoln Land Lincoln Land College spoiled the home opener for the Lincoln College Lynx in volleyball action Tuesday night, winning the match in four games. Lincoln Land won the first game by a 31-29 margin and Lincoln College won the next game, 30-23. Lincoln Land then rebounded to win 30-18 and 30-21. "Lincoln Land played a real solid match and didn't get rattled when we won the second game. They were very consistent all night," said LC Coach Mark Tippett. "We didn't play badly, but for some reason we didn't have the drive in the third and fourth games. We gave a solid effort and hopefully we will take some positives out of the match into our next match Thursday." Danielle Crum was the team leader with eight kills, six blocks and eight points with Kristen Meminger registering seven kills and a pair of digs. Cara Willey contributed three digs for the Lynx while Rosie Miller was the leader in set assists with 17, along with five points.
