Lynx Top Millikin JV The Lincoln College volleyball team handed Millikin JV a setback in three games Saturday at Decatur. The Lynx won by scores of 30-15, 30-24, 30-23. Lincoln College raised its record to 4-1 for the season. Coach Mark Tippett stated, "We continued doing the things we need in order to be successful. Our serving was strong and our passing allowed us to control the flow of the match. I am very pleased with the team chemistry I am seeing early in the season" Chelsea Faith led the way with nine kills, two blocks and five digs. Danielle Crum had six kills and seven blocks while Misty Fry had seven points and four aces. Beth Applen and Cara Willey each contributed with eight and seven digs respectively. Lincoln College will be in action Wednesday at Springfield College. # # # # # |
