Lynx Drop to 0-3 Record - Struggle to find right balance CHAMPAIGN - Parkland defeated Lincoln College in three games here Tuesday night, 30-19, 30-9, 30-23. The Lynx, now 0-3, will play Carl Sandburg in Galesburg Thursday night. "We are struggling to find the right combination in our lineup," said Coach Mark Tippett. "We have been doing a lot of experimenting and still haven't solved all our problems. Our effort has been outstanding and we haven't given up in any of our matches. We actually were tied at 22 in the third game before Parkland ran off a string of points. If we can build off what we did in the third match, I think we can turn it around." Rosie Miller had five points, including one ace and three digs to lead the Lynx. Jessica Livezey contributed three kills, six points and four blocks. # # # # # |
