Lynx Post First Victory

GALESBURG - Lincoln College posted its first win of the season by downing Carl Sandburg in three games here Thursday night.   The Lynx volleyball team posted wins by the scores of 30-21, 30-28, 30-24.
 
"We played a good match and the girls appeared to gel as a team tonight," said Coach Mark Tippett.  "Things started clicking and we played well in all areas.   It is great to get a win and hopefully this will carry over into the week-end at the Black Hawk East tri-match.  
 
Savannah Hammond contributed three points, one kill and one block while Christy Raymer had 17 set assists and three points.  Melissa Brassard was a big contributor with five kills, five blocks and seven points.
 
Lincoln College now stands at 1-3 for the season.
