Lynx Have Dual Loss in Weekend's Tri-Match

Moline - Lincoln College lost to Black Hawk East 30-18, 30-23, and 30-18 in the first match here Saturday and then lost to Kankakee Community College, 30-25, 30-27 and 30-26.

"We came out a little sluggish in the match against Black Hawk, but we picked it up greatly in our match with Kankakee," said Coach Mark Tippett.   "We didn't pass the ball very well early but I was real happy with the way we responded and played in the match against Kankakee.   It will be good for us to get back in the gym and work on some of our problems before we play Lincoln Christian College on Tuesday."

Leading the way for the Lynx was Jessica Livezey with nine kills, four blocks and six points on the day.  Kristin Majka had a total of 12 kills, five digs and six points with Lacey Jones contributing eight kills, two blocks and three points.   Melissa Brassard also had a good day for the Lynx with six kills, two blocks and five points.
