Lynx Defeat LCC

Lincoln College defeated Lincoln Christian College JV in three game at the Lynx gym Tuesday night by scores of 30-20, 30-18 and 30-23. Lincoln College, now 6-2, will be at home Wednesday at 6 p.m. for a conference match against Parkland. Lincoln College is 1-1 in the conference and Parkland stands at 1-0.

"We had a real balanced attack against LCC tonight as everyone contributed," said Coach Mark Tippett. "We were down early in all three games but were able to come back to tie the score and then when we went on top, we were able to maintain the advantage and take control of the games. I was real pleased with the all around effort tonight. Our crowd really helped out as they were very loud and matched the enthusiasm of the LCC crowd."

Kristin Majka led the Lynx with four kills, six digs and 13 points while Chonita Ziegler and Erica Lill each had four kills. Jennifer Stedman had five digs and Sarah Klawitter had five set assists and eight points.
