Team Looks Forward - Puts tough loss behind them

GODFREY - Lewis & Clark pounded the Lincoln College volleyball team in three games here Monday night by scores of 30-17, 30-16, 30-22.
 
"We just never got out of the gate tonight," said Coach Mark Tippett.  "Our passing was very poor, we were a step slow on defense and our serving was not up to par.   We just didn't play like we are capable of playing tonight.   We will have to put it behind us and look forward to better things the rest of the week."
 
Rosie Miller had six points and 11 digs while Lacey Jones contributed nine kills and Ashley Hanson had 11 digs to pace the Lady Lynx attack.
 
Lincoln College, 2-8) will be at home Wednesday against the Millikin JV at 7 p.m. in their next action.  The Lynx play at Lincoln Land Thursday.
