Lynx Drop 10th Game of Season

SPRINGFIELD - Lincoln Land handed the Lincoln College Lynx a defeat in volleyball action here Thursday night by scores of 30-28, 30-17, 30-25.   The loss drops the LC record to 2-10 for the season.
 
Lacey Jones had a total of 14 kills and three digs for the Lynx while Samantha McCoy had seven points and six digs.  Contributing 14 digs was Ashley Hanson and Laura Hecht added four kills.
 
"We played pretty well, especially in the first and third games," said Coach Mark Tippett.  "We gave a good competitive effort against a very good team.   I am never pleased with a loss but the effort and intensity were good."
 
Lincoln College is idle until Tuesday when they host Illinois College.
