Team Defeated by Danville

Danville - The Lincoln College volleyball team lost in three game to Danville Wednesday night as the hosts won by scores of 30-20, 32-30 and 30-24. Lincoln College drops to 9-9 for the season and will play in a tournament at the College of DuPage Friday and Saturday.

Freshman Danielle Crum led the Lynx with seven kills, five blocks and four points with Spencer Hall contributing six kills, four points and two digs. Victoria Tuttle added six kills and two points while Sarah Klawitter had four points and was credited with 14 set assists.

" We passed the ball poorly and had a hard time getting any momentum going on offense," said Coach Mark Tippett. "Danville blocked us well at the net and their 6'3" middle hitter really disrupted our defense. I am confident that we can turn things around this weekend if we can just get some consistency in our passing game."
