Team Posts Season's 3rd Victory

The Lincoln College volleyball team improved to 3-10 with a victory over the Illinois College JV team at Lincoln Tuesday night.   The Lynx won the opening game 30-22, before dropping the second by a 30-21 scored.   Lincoln College then came back to win the next two games, 30-23 and 30-26, to win the match.

"We played a very solid match.  We were real strong in the first game and then went a little flat, however, we were able to turn it around in the next two games and get the victory.   In the past when we have gotten down, we haven't been able to rebound very well.   Tonight we did a good job and hopefully this will help us grow as a team."

Jessica Livezey had 12 points, four kills and one block for the Lynx while Christy Raymer had nine points and a pair of aces.   Kristin Majka scored seven points with 13 kills and Maggie Noldan had 21 set assists and six points.
