Volleyball Team Making Progress in Win Over Danville

Lincoln College handled Danville in three games at Lincoln Wednesday night by the scores of 31-29, 30-25, 30-28.  
 
"We played very well against a team that beat us in three games in our opener this season," said Coach Mark Tippett.  "I was pleased with our effort and intensity.   The fact we were able to beat them, after losing early in the season, shows we are making progress and improvement.  I feel we are making good progress and have maintained a good attitude.    The girls have been working hard and it is starting to pay off."
 
Christy Raymer had 11 points, four digs and one kill to lead the Lynx, now 4-10 for the season.   "The one kill Christy had was a big one as it was the deciding point in the opening game," said Tippett.
 
Melissa Brassard had 13 points and eight aces, Rosie Miller contributed five points and 16 set assists; Jessica Livezey had nine points and six kills.
