Lynx Win Again Lincoln College raised its season record to 14-11 by downing Lincoln Christian College JV in four games at LCC Tuesday night. The Lynx won the first game by a 30-21 score and then lost the second game 20-30. Lincoln College then won the next two games, 30-28, 30-22, to win the match. Mackenzie Clark had 11 set assists and 10 points while Samantha McCoy had 14 digs and 10 points to pace the Lynx attack. Erica Lill was credited with six kills and five blocks, Victoria Tuttle with five kills and one block and Jennifer Stedman with four digs and six points to aid the Lynx attack. Coach Mark Tippett stated, "This match was a battle from start to finish. We had some trouble handling a couple of their servers, but for the most part I was pleased with how we passed the ball. Our serving and defensive intensity were strong again tonight, and our setters did an excellent job of making difficult passes into hittable balls." The Lynx will play a conference game in Springfield Wednesday against Lincoln Land. # # # # # |
