" We played a very good match against a great team," said Coach Mark Tippett. "We played with a lot of heart and energy and the first game was a real battle, but we came up on the short end. Our girls never gave up and surprised the number two seed a little. I am extremely proud of the effort we gave tonight and we had a great season. We won 21 matches, a great improvement over the seven wins from last season. Our sophomores stepped up and did a good job and we also got a lot of contributions from our freshmen members. It was just a great season."
