Cross Country Teams have Solid Performances at Millikin

The men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the Millikin Fast Times Challenge over fall break. The men placed 3rd out of 8 teams, while the women placed 4th. Placing in the top 30 for the men was Justin Critchelow (29th),Mike Cooper (25th),Chris Lanhum (22nd) and Chris Matthews (16th).Placing in the top 30 for the women was Tari Fisk (29th) and Brittany Carpenter (24th). Coach Herron said,” It was unseasonably hot today. I know that had a huge effect on our overall times. I was pleased at how well that battled. I know we can still take off a lot of time especially when the weather gets a little cooler. I am excited for the upcoming meets.” The Lynx will be at the Sauk Valley Invite this weekend. The meet will be held at Sauk Valley and the racing will start at 10:30 a.m.
