Coach Herron said,” This is the first time in my career here at Lincoln that I did not have a team finish in the top 25 and I couldn’t be more proud of them. When I look what the team had lost from last year either from injury or other reasons we truly did have a successful season. One the men’s side only one of the top five was a sophomore, on the women’s side two were sophomores. So the future is very promising. We have to use what we learned from this year so we can get back into the top 25 next year. I have to give a special thanks to Coach Lowe and Coach Boerma, they are unbelievable coaches. I also have to thank the parents and other fans who came to so many of our meets, their energy and support was amazing.”
