Fine Arts Scholarships are awarded to students with outstanding
talent in Dance, Instrumental Music, Vocal Music, Photography,
Technical
Theatre, Theatre or the Visual Arts. Division
scholarships include the Betty Talkin Dirks, Janet Harris, Louise
Walker Layman, R.J. Gossett, Herbert O. Merry and Norma Thompson
Petty Scholarships. Students are required to present an audition or portfolio for
consideration. They must also participate in the activities of
the department. The amount of
the award as well as its renewability is based upon the recommendation
of Fine Arts Faculty.
