Lincoln College Show Choir
The Lincoln College Show Choir, known as Express, was organized in 1984 under the direction of Bill Buffington and continues today under the leadership of Eddie Vandewalker.
Over the years the ensemble has traveled 110,000 miles
and performed over 400 shows for a total audience of more than
180,000.
They have presented shows in Washington D.C., New Orleans, Chicago
and a television Christmas Special. Express has traveled to Honolulu,
Hawaii to perform as a representative of the state of Illinois.
They have performed at Busch Gardens, Sea World, on cruise ships
to Nassau and Mexico and they present shows annually at Disney World,
Universal Studios, and Epcot Center.
The ensemble includes 16 singers, an instrumental ensemble of
eight and a four member technical crew.
Express has collected 29 awards for excellent performances and
a certificate of appreciation from the Government of the Bahamas
for an outstanding show in Nassau. 
Auditions
Auditions are by appointment and include
scholarships for sound and lighting, instrumental and vocal.
Music students should have one song prepared and provide music
for the accompanist.
Sound and lighting students should present a list of shows, concerts,
etc., in which they have presented technical support.
