Music Scholarship Criteria
Performance scholarships are available
to students meeting the following audition criteria.
- Performance of one song or composition that best demonstrates
the student’s voice or instrument. Accompaniment must
be by cassette, CD or you may provide music for the college
accompanist.
- Sight
reading of a piece of music chosen by the college faculty.
- Performance
of two major and two minor scales for instruments.
- Exercise
in pitch retention for vocalists.
Scholarships are renewable each semester. Students
receiving scholarships must maintain a 2.0 GPA and participate
in performance ensembles.
