Prior to teaching at Lincoln College Joe Baker spent more than 25 years with the Illinois State Police. The majority of that time was spent conducting criminal investigations including homicides, sex crimes, narcotics, and fraud investigations. Additionally, he was assigned to the Illinois State Police Academy instructing Illinois State Police Cadets. Baker has a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice Management, a Bachelor’s degree in Social Justice Professions and an Associate’s degree in Police Science.
