CSC 100: Introduction to Microcomputers

This course is designed for students majoring in business. It is an in-depth introduction to the methods and techniques of Microsoft Office products that include Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Internet access methods. This course is designed to expose students to practical examples of the computer as a useful tool. The course includes an introduction to computers that covers essential computer hardware and software concepts. Basic information management systems and operating systems are reviewed.

CSC 155: Introduction to Windows

This course is designed to prepare students to use Microsoft Windows in the most efficient manner possible. The students should gain a good understanding of what Microsoft Windows can do for them personally and in a professional atmosphere.

CSC 190: Web Page Development

Credits: 3:0:3
This is a foundational course for creating web pages using Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), and Cascading Styles Sheets (CSS). Significant emphasis will be on good design, common technologies, and delivery techniques with some digital image editing. Students should have computer proficiencies in basic typing and file management and a fundamental understanding of the Internet.
