Welcome to the McKinstry Library
The McKinstry Library provides access to a collection of more than 43,000 in print items. This includes a reference collection of more than 300 volumes. The McKinstry Library subscribes to nearly 5,000 journals of which 78 are in print and with the remaining journals available in electronic format. The McKinstry Library has special collections sections covering the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln, and Education. The McKinstry Library also contains an extensive collection of audio visual materials and journals on microfilm.

Lincoln Heritage Museum
The library is also the home to the McKinstry Rare Book Room, the Lincoln College Museum, and the Museum of the Presidents which was named “one of the 10 best Lincoln-related sites in Illinois” by Illinois-NOW! travel magazine.
