Head Coach: Brian Herron

Coach Herron is entering his seventh year at Lincoln College. He is a graduate of Western Illinois University. While at Western, Coach Herron competed in cross country and track for the Leathernecks. He received his B.A. in Education in 1997. Prior to coaching at Lincoln College, he was the cross country and track coach at Midwest Central High School. Under his guidance both the cross country and track and field teams at Lincoln College have become perennial national qualifiers.

Coach Herron and his wife Amy live in Morton, Il. They are the proud parents of Addalyn Jo Herron and Trygg Herron.

Assistant Coach: Britney Boerma

Coach Boerma is beginning her third year as an assistant coach and her fourth year teaching biology at Lincoln College. She began her running career as a student at Hartsburg-Emden High School. She received her B.A. in Biology/Pre-Medicine from Augustana College and attended graduate school at Western Illinois University. While attending Augustana, she was an active contributor on successful track, cross country, and volleyball teams. Prior to coaching at Lincoln College, she was the track coach of the girls track team at Hartsburg-Emden Jr. High School. Her love of running and passion for the sport continue as she recently qualified for the Boston Marathon.
