Pat Lepper

Coach Pat Lepper comes to the Lynx from John Wood Community College in Quincy, where he served as the associate head coach for the men’s basketball program this past season.

“I am extremely excited to accept the head men’s basketball coaching position at Lincoln College,” said Lepper. “I am looking forward to building relationships with our student-athletes, faculty, staff, and the Lincoln community.

“I believe in hard work, a positive attitude, and a consistent effort, all of which will contribute to the continuing success of Lincoln College. It is an honor to have this opportunity to be a part of such a prestigious institution.”

Lepper started his college basketball career at John Wood after growing up in Jacksonville, Fla. During his time with the Blazers, Lepper was a two-time team captain. Lepper was a Third Team All-Conference selection as a freshman and a First Team All-Conference and All-Region selection as a sophomore. Lepper was also a high-achieving student at the junior college level, compiling a 3.71 GPA. In recognition of his athletic and academic success, along with a commitment to community service, Lepper was awarded the prestigious Lea Plarski Award by the NJCAA for the 2005-06 season.

After graduating from JWCC, Lepper received a basketball scholarship at Indiana University-Purdue University at Fort Wayne, an NCAA Division I program.  Lepper was a member of the basketball team for two years and earned a bachelor’s degree in General Studies in 2008.

Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, Lepper returned to Florida and joined the coaching staff at Jacksonville University as a graduate assistant. While at Jacksonville, Lepper earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

Lepper returned to John Wood in 2010 as an assistant coach and was elevated to associate head coach in 2011.

“We are very excited to have Pat join our program,” said Lincoln College Athletic Director Dave Klemm. “He brings a lot of experience and energy to the institution.”

Along with his coaching duties, Pat will be an instructor in the Business Department.
