Lady Lynx Come Up Short on Road

The Lincoln College women’s basketball team climbed back from a 14-point deficit with six minutes to play to tie the game at 65 with :04 seconds left in the game.  Carl Sandburg executed a last second effort and stuck in a layup to take the game 67-65.  The loss drops the Lady Lynx to 4-2 on the season.

Arial Williams (Bloomington, IL) dropped in 19 points and pulled down 9 rebounds while Ally Friday (Metamora, IL) chipped in with 18 points.  Edraniel Tookes (Lincoln, IL) grabbed a team high 10 rebounds.  The Lady Lynx will be in action at home against IVCC on Thursday, November 15th.  Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30pm.
