LC’s Friday Named to All-Region and All-MWAC Teams / Jennings Honorable Mention
Lincoln College’s sophomore Ally Friday (Metamora) has been selected to the Region XXIV All-Region women’s basketball team and also selected to the M-WAC All-Conference 1st team. Ally led the Lynx in scoring with 13.4 points per game while also shooting 40% from the field and 64% from the line.

LC Women End Season / Lose to Parkland in Region 24 Tourney
Champaign, IL – The Lincoln College women’s basketball team fell to Parkland 82-56 in the quarterfinals of the Region XXIV tournament. Ally Friday led the Lynx in scoring with 18 points.

LC Women Lose Regular Season Finale at Parkland
Champaign, IL – The Lincoln College women’s basketball team was defeated by Parkland 76-57. Leading scorer for the Lynx was Ally Friday with 19 points and she also had a team high 5 rebounds.

LC Women Drop Home Contest to John Wood
Lincoln, IL – The Lincoln College women’s basketball team dropped a home contest to John Wood Community College 61-42. Edraniel Tookes (Lincoln, IL) recorded a double-double to lead LC with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The loss dropped Lincoln’s overall record to 14-14. The Lynx travel to Parkland on March 2 to take on Parkland at 2:00pm.

LC Women Basketball Pick Up Win on Road
Monmouth, IL – The Lincoln College women’s basketball team picked up a 71-58 win over Monmouth College JV. Ally Friday (Metamora, IL) had 18 points followed by Cassidy Jennings (Limestone, IL) with 15 points and Angie Ruff (Lincoln, IL) eight points. Leading rebounder was Taylor Buliox (Bartlett, IL) with 11 boards. Jennings had four assists and Denitra Mack had four steals.

LC Women Basketball Pick Up Home Win in OT
Lincoln, IL – The Lincoln College women’s basketball team won in overtime 68-65 over Lewis & Clark at the Lincoln Center at Lincoln College. Ally Friday (Metamora, IL) had 18 points and nine rebounds and Shannon Hall (Bloomington, IL) had 10 points. Taylor Buliox (Barlett, IL) pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds.
With the overtime win, the Lynx improve to 12-12 overall and 2-4 in the MWAC. Their next game will be February 12 at Monmouth College against their JV squad. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00pm.

East Peoria, IL – The Lincoln College women’s basketball team fell on the road to #5 Illinois Central College 90-45. Leading the way for the Lynx were Erika Spiller (Chicago, IL) and Ally Friday (Metamora, IL) with 9 points and 8 points respectively.

Lincoln, IL – The Lincoln College women’s basketball team lost a heartbreaker at Danville 64-61 on a buzzer-beater three pointer. Ally Friday (Metamora, IL) set a school record with six 3-pointers on the way to scoring 22 points. Taylor Buliox (Bartlett, IL) had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Edraniel Tookes (Lincoln, IL) had 11 points.

LC Women Basketball Battle Lewis & Clark On Road
Godfrey, IL – The Lincoln College women’s basketball team fell to 11-10 overall with a road loss to Lewis & Clark 68-61. Ally Friday (Metamora, IL) and Erika Spiller (Chicago, IL) led the Lynx with 14 poionts apiece. Jessica Miller (Sandwich, IL) added 12 points. Spiller pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds.

Lincoln, IL – The Lincoln College women’s basketball team defeated Lincoln Land in overtime 64-58. Ally Friday (Metamora, IL) led the Lynx in scoring with 21 pionts, three steals, and two assists. Erika Spiller (Chicago, IL) and Shannon Hall (Bloomington, IL) each contributed 10 points. Edraniel Tookes (Lincoln, IL) pulled down a team-high 11 rebounds. The win improves the Lynx to 11-9 and 1-2 in the MWAC.
