LC Women’s Basketball Picks Up First Win Over MacMurray JV 70-61
Lincoln, IL – The Lincoln College women’s basketball team defeated MacMurray College JV 70-61. Leading scorers for the Lynx were Cassidy Jennings and Edraniel Tookes with 10 points each. Tookes and Nikki Nichols each pulled down 7 rebounds while Demetria Watson dished out 7 assists.
Lincoln, IL – The Lincoln College women’s basketball lost a close one to Lindenwood-Belleville JV 72-71. Leading scorers for the Lynx were Emily Johnson with 17 points followed by Shannon Hall with 14, Kaitlin Snyder with 13 and Olivia Chiapetto with 11. Chiapetto and Nikki Nichols pulled down 8 rebounds apiece.

LC Women’s Basketball Lose on Road to IVCC 65-52
Oglesby, IL – The Lincoln College women’s basketball team lost to Illinois Valley 65-52. Leading scorer for the Lynx was Emily Johnson with 9 points and Nikki Nichols pulled down a team high 12 rebounds.
On Friday, November 22nd and Monday, November 25th the Lincoln College women’s basketball team will be hosting two Disaster Relief games for the tornado-stricken town and victims of Washington, IL. Fans are asked to donate to the cause as all proceeds from the games will go directly to the Washington, IL Disaster Relief Fund.

LC Women’s Basketball Drop Game at Carl Sandburg 64-44
Galesburg, IL – The Lincoln College women’s basketball team fell to 0-4 with a 64-44 loss at Carl Sandburg. Leading the Lynx in scoring were Kaitlin Snyder and Demetria Watson with 10 points apiece. Trisha Martin pulled down 7 rebounds and Emily Johnson had 5 steals.

LC Women’s Basketball Fall on Road
Dixon, IL – The Lincoln College lost on the road to Sauk Valley 72-53 to drop to 0-3 on the season. Emily Johnson & Demetria Watson tossed in 12 points & 10 points respectively. Nikki Nichols grabbed a team high 11 rebounds.
The Lynx travel Wednesday night to Carl Sandburg for a 6:00 start.

LC Women’s Basketball Drop Two at Lady Lynx Classic
Lincoln, IL – The Lincoln College women’s basketball team opened at home in the Lady Lynx Classic. On Friday night, after getting down 44-24 at the half, the Lynx didn’t hang their heads and fought back to only fall short 72-67. With better free throw shooting (25-44 from the line) the score could have been much different.
Lincoln College’s sophomore Ally Friday (Metamora) has been selected to the Region XXIV All-Region women’s basketball team and also selected to the M-WAC All-Conference 1st team. Ally led the Lynx in scoring with 13.4 points per game while also shooting 40% from the field and 64% from the line.
Champaign, IL – The Lincoln College women’s basketball team fell to Parkland 82-56 in the quarterfinals of the Region XXIV tournament. Ally Friday led the Lynx in scoring with 18 points.
