LC’s Katie Frye Finishes 17th at NJCAA Women’s Golf National Championship
Mesa, AZ – Lincoln College’s Katie Frye finished 17th in the individual competition of the NJCAA Women’s Golf National Championship. She had a 4 day total of 366 (90-91-92-93) at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, AZ. Frye, a sophomore from Bluffs, was also a two time qualifier for the national tournament.

LC’s Katie Frye in 14th Individually at NJCAA National Golf Tournament
Mesa, AZ – Lincoln College’s Katie Frye shot a 92 in the 3rd round of the NJCAA Women’s National Golf Championship to be in 14th place individually. The tournament concludes today at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, AZ.

LC Women’s Golf Finish 3rd at Region Tournament / Frye Qualifies
Effingham, IL – Katie Frye recorded a two day total of 95-90 to place 5th in the Region XXIV women’s golf tournament played at the Effingham Country Club. The Lynx finished 3rd with a team score 830. Katie qualifies individually to compete in the NJCAA Women’s National Golf Tournament to be played at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, AZ

LC Women’s Golf Team Wins Illinois College Mid Week
Jacksonville, IL – The Lincoln College women’s golf team won the Illinois College Mid Week Tournament in Jacksonville, IL recently. The team shot 406. Katie Frye led the way for the Lynx with a 2nd place finish with a score of 94.

LC Women Golf Finish 10th at Millikin Fall Classic
The Lincoln College women’s golf team came in 10th place in the Millikin University Fall Classic played at Red Tail Golf Club on September 22 and 23. The team turned in a two day total of 773 (385-389). Katie Frye put together a two day total of 178 (90-88) to place in a tie for 39th out of 91 golfers.

LC’s Frye Medalist at Kaskaskia Invitational / Women Finish 4th
Katie Frye captured medalist honors at the Kaskaskia Invitational played at the Greenview Golf Course in Centralia with an 85. The Lincoln College women finished in 4th place with a team total of 404.

The Lincoln College women’s golf team finished 8th in the North Central College Invitational with a team score of 402. Katie Frye (Springfield, IL) placed 20th overall with a round of 92.

LC Women’s Golf Take 3rd/Frye Finishes 4th
Jacksonville, IL – The Lincoln College women’s golf team placed 3rd in the Illinois College Fall Mid-Week Tournament with a team score of 398 losing to Quincy University by 8 strokes. Katie Frye (Springfield, IL) shot a 94 good for 4th place while Katie Novosad (Wheaton, IL) finished 8th with 97 and Kylee West (Danville, IL) finished 9th with a 99.

LC Women’s Golf Rained Out
Galesburg, IL – The Knox Invitational at Soangetaha Country Club in Galesburg, IL was canceled after just seven holes completed due to the heavy rains. The Lynx will tee it up again on September 12 at the Illinois College Mid-Week in Jacksonville, IL at the Links Golf Course.
